PLACES OF INTEREST IN TEPOZTLAN:
- Museum Former Convent of Tepoztlan & Parish of Our Lady of Nativity: Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994, the Parish of Nativity is an imposing construction from the XVI century and one of the top places to visit in Tepoztlan.
- The Tepozteco: It’s an archaeological site full of mysticism (the locals say that UFOs fly over it). At its top there are vestiges of what it used to be an adoration center dedicated to the mexica gods and even when reaching the top is not easy, it offers the most spectacular views.
- Tepoztlan Market: From arts and crafts, typical clothes, musical instruments, candles and jewelry to tasty traditional food and ice creams to refresh your palate during the hot summer days can be found in the Tepoztlan Market, available on Wednesdays and Sundays.
